One Little Redmi Dream (Series 1)

When I got my little phone that I save for whole 6 months. It cost me 7,600 Php just to buy this phone. I barely ate just to shorten my the days before to buy this phone. I traveled to Baclaran with 7,600 in our pockets just to buy this phone.

For Reference This is my last Phone:
A Samsung Galaxy S4, Its a bit old and on its last legs. It's fine though, Now On its new case looking new. But deep inside, There is no sim (not a stupid joke but actually it cant read sims anymore)

I cant shell out 10,000 because im a student :(

       I need to defend my self because me as a person would not eat the whole day just to have a phone, and I'm not that typical person who acts rich just to save face. If I'm that, I could have just bought an Iphone (Pity me because I could have an Iphone 5s so sed.....). And I don't need fancy filters to hide my insecurities. Stop banking on insecurities Oppo/Vivo. Focus on the actual quality of your camera first!
   
        In your mind, you were wondering why did I do this?
Let me tell you about Custom ROMS!

There are many things can liven up a old phone!

Changing some things to suit up what you like is the joy of  Custom Roms

         Custom roms (read only memory) I think is some of the devices lifeline. We throw phones when it is outdated, Version wise and Security wise. In my opinion that it somewhat reduces wasted gadgets that end up in a landfill and polluting the environment. One can download new software and make their phone brand new!

          

But be warned! It is very tricky in downloading and installing a brand new custom rom to a new phone. You'll void your warranty, and essentially put your one foot on the grave. Because like a surgery on a human person, it is surgery for your phone too. One wrong step and your communication tool is destroyed (or as we say is bricked). While Im downloading and installing the software, I'll run the risk of losing my 7,600 for good. But, If done right, massive things are essentially unlocked, and you hold a new and functioning phone.

Umm, Okay I still don't understand though but why is called the "One Little Redmi Dream"

Just for the lols hahahaha.

No, but I want to immerse myself to into the deep world of phone tinkering with my tool.

Here it is:

        It is a nice journey that I want to do and explore. Like cooking, painting, sports. Tinkering my phone is my hobby that I want to pursue. I hope that, I can expand my talents and hone my hobby to something great!

Ps. Stop shaming me Oppo/Vivo, I know I know, just stop
